Twin Head Blown Film Production Line

The twin-head blown film production line is used to produce low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic film by blowing, for manufacturing various flat bags. These bags are used for packing in the food, garment, and textile industries, among others.

  Application

  The double-head film blowing machine is a twin-head extruding system (drag two film blowing machine) with a screw barrel, two die heads, two upper traction units, and two winders. It is suitable for producing small-width LDPE/HDPE plastic film, such as T-shirt bags, roll bags, shopping bags, and similar products.

  Advantage

  The cylinder barrel and screw of the extruder are made of high-quality alloy steel. They are nitrided and precision-finished to achieve excellent hardness and corrosion resistance. Scientifically designed, this double-die-head film blowing machine set features two heads driven by one extruder, offering advantages such as increased production capacity and energy, labor, and workshop-area savings. One complete machine set can produce two film rolls simultaneously, increasing output within a given period. This double-die-head film blowing machine corresponds to one machine set only.

  Flexible Adaptability to Diverse Demands

  The twin-head film blowing machine can simultaneously produce two films with different widths, thicknesses, or materials (e.g., food-grade PE film on one side and industrial-grade PE film on the other), meeting diverse order requirements. Each die head can operate independently, allowing the other head to keep running while one head is under maintenance or changing materials, minimizing downtime. The twin heads are integrated into a single machine frame, saving more than 50% of workshop space compared with two separate single-head machines. In addition, some power systems can be shared (e.g., main power supply and cooling water pumps), reducing equipment procurement and maintenance costs.
